The easiest and quickest way to reach the highest peak of the Gerecse mountain range is from the charming village of Tardos, where you can admire the panorama from a geodesic tower used as a semi-legal lookout tower on the top of the mountain, crowned with a TV and transmitter tower, but the main attraction of the hike is the beautiful, majestic beech forest on the side of Gerecse.
